Meet Yuliya

Yuliya Chitose Born in Yamagata Japan. She started ballet at the age of 6 and studied ballet and Nevada State University-approved Pilates under Noriko Koyama as an assistant instructor. She has won top prizes at competitions in Japan and has performed the act of Odette from “Swan Lake”. She was a member of Dance Space contemporary company in Japan, performed in company productions and danced as a guest at a piece by Takeshi Ohashi, director of “Two Man.” She moved to the United States in the fall of 2021 and is currently based in New York City. Yuliya made her debut as a member of the Benjamin Briones Ballet Company this season.
