Meet José

José Sales

Guest Dancer

Born in México City, José started his ballet training at the age of 20 with a private teacher taking Vaganova technique. After 8 months he began training with the Royal Academy of Dance program where he graduated. He also trained with recognized teachers such as Jetzemani Velazco, Jorge Vega, Aurora Vazquez and Natalya Getman. Between 2018 and 2019 he participated as a guest principal dancer with Bossov Ballet Theatre (Maine) and CAPA Ballet Company (California). Now a New Yorker, he dances with the NYDP and Benjamin Briones Ballet.
